massacre
the Syrian dictator Assad, along with Putin, are about to completely massacre an entire city - Aleppo. the Syrian army has taken over 98% of the city. families are sitting together, praying, knowing any minute will be their last minute on earth. civilians are tweeting their last goodbyes, sending out last minute pleas for someone, anyone, to help.
imagine that. sitting with the people you love, holding each other, hearing nothing but their harsh breathing and the clash of bombs completely destroying your home, killing your neighbors, your friends, you. just imagine that. i cant, i really cannot.
the U.N. has already called Syria the worst humanitarian crisis in this century. experts are saying this massacre rivals that of WW2 (not to take away from the holocaust) in terms of how heinous and completely disgusting it is.
i’m not the best with words, with conveying me emotions. but please take a moment out of your time to acknowledge this, at least. this is the worst humanitarian crisis happening on Earth right now, according to the U.N. this is a breach of human rights, of all our rights. you should be concerned, in the least.
You really shouldnt just relay “news” without doing some research.
Aside from forcibly being taken by AL QAEDA in 2012, Aleppo has been divided into east and west. Many civilians left east (al qaeda held )aleppo to west aleppo. And there arent 250,000 civilians there. After RECONCILIATION deals the terorrists were taken out to go north syria and the syrians were free to leave and after the Syrian army sacrificed its men to look for mines, they were allowed to settle back in their home. With 95% of the pocket taken, they were 100,000 were the other 250,000 in the last 5%?
Also the last remaining civilians ( the adults), the families of al qaeda terrorists were evacuated with the militants to turkey and Idlib.
The effort to get them out was largely a us, turkey and france one. There are no massacres. Since the beginning of the east aleppo battle te largest way to freeing the land has been granting amnesty and safe passage to these murders. Does make sense to negotiate for 95% but murder the last 5% ?
This is just the start the amount of fake news being reported without being reported is insane. Hopefully kids stay as safe as they can.
Also, when families decide not to leave and fight while they have children who end up dying while the government has given a 30 day period to get out safe, who’s fault is that. Stop getting news from twitter moments and pretending you’re WOKE or a HUMANITARIAN.
